Where do The Arsenal need to strengthen during this transfer window?

It’s yet another season of ups and downs thus far from The Arsenal, however, currently sitting third in the table with just three losses in the season and qualification into the Round of the Last 16 of the Champions League, we still have it all to play for, even if Saints away in the FACUP may prove a big hurdle.

That said, many agree with the team over at Sports Betting and Tips that if Arsenal are going to be victors in any competition this season, Arsene Wenger would cause no harm in adding to his squad.

Wenger would be a brave man if he decides against bringing in a new defensive recruit at right-back. He clearly has little faith in Carl Jenkinson whose move to Palace may of broken down,  but who still looks set to leave the club, and with Jenkinson’s stand in Mathieu Debuchy currently ruled out with a hamstring injury, Wenger is leaving us short in that department apart from pulling over Gabriel. Hector Bellerin our first-choice right-back  has also been unfortunate with injuries and if the Spaniard does not play, we do miss him a lot. The 21-year-old offers a great attacking threat down the flank, and without him, our prowess in that respect is no more.

Midfield is a mess, Jack on loan, Santi injured, Elneny in Africa, leaving us with only 2 centre mid players and Ramsey, Ox who can play there but are better off elsewhere, if anywhere its the centre of midfield that we need to strengthen, if not now but definitely this summer coming summer.

Alexis Sanchez is currently the Premier League’s top scorer this season with 14 goals and 7 assists to his name. We are joint on most goals scored with Liverpool, goal scoring has not been so much of a problem as Giroud is on a good run right now and we have Perez and Welbeck both almost fit and ready.

With eight goals and two assists, Theo Walcott is the second top scorer at ours so far this season, but sadly again hes been let down by injury. His ability can’t be questioned as his record speaks for itself and suggests that Wenger should have faith in his man, however, you can’t exactly blame him for being reluctant to rely on the 27-year-old to bring home the goods, but no-one else who has been pulled over to play right sided attack seems to want to make the place there own.

I Can’t remember a transfer window that we have not been linked with PSG striker Edison Cavani  (This is just one of many click bait articles linking us with him). The Uruguayan has hinted at a move to the Premier League and currently heads the Ligue 1 scoring charts this season with 18 goals in just 16 appearances. Will it ever happen ?, will we sign anyone ? i’d not bet my wages on it….
