Hatred filled Arsenal fans do not represent the club

From moaning about our lack of business to moaning about the business we have done.

In the last few days, we have seen online abuse sent to Noni Madueke, a petition started against his signing and the tunnel murals graffitied over.

Sadly we have become the most laughed at fanbase in England. And one of the most dispised.

Entitled fans who think finishing 2nd is a sackable offence. Who want to get rid of the man who has raised their expectation level for not reaching the high standards they do not even set themselves in life.

Social media has a lot to answer for. And ultimately I blame AFTV.

Their rage baiting content of the late 2010s has spawned a generation of entitled online incell fans that believe rage, anger, and hate are the go to emotions.

I am just glad that the majority of these fans do not go to games. Either due to living hundreds or thousands of miles away or because daddy will no longer pay for their ticket.

The atmosphere at the Emirates is very different to the one that is seen online. But sadly it is the online presence that opposing fans and the media see as the representative voice.

If you post to divide, post to create rage, post to transfer the negativity in your own life into others, then you ain’t Arsenal.

Well said, Keenos. Those of us who actually go to games, home , and we’ll possible, away, don’t recognise this attitude. It doesn’t exist in the ground. These people are pitiful.

These people have no place in our club. This is totally unacceptable. Maybe, just maybe they might be frustrated supporters from other clubs masquerading as Arsenal fans.

Isn’t this the same kind of aggression that led to the abuse and vandalisation of the mural in the first place?

        It does make me laugh….

Arteta must have received a BUNG in paying for an overpriced bench warmer. The Arsenal Chairman should investigate Arteta as was once done wth George Graham paying for over valued ordinary players.
Something very strange about this deal as was with Havertz!

Abuse and disrespect has no place in football.

There are a lot of people that disagree with what MA does and that is fair enough. I disagree with a lot of what he does – particularly the Madueke deal.

I think this is the telling season for MA – if he fails to win something once again I think he needs to go.

He needs to get a new striker without a doubt

Given the proclivity to sign Chelsea rejects I wonder what the betting is on him signing Nicholas Jackson

Absolutely disgusting. Been an attending fan since mid 70s. Lots of good times and bad. It’s a roller coaster ride. Just enjoy it and support the TEAM. COYFG.

The thing that annoys most people who have a problem with Arteta is that he repeats the same mistakes.

How long exactly have Arsenal been crying out for an out and out No9?

I am confident in saying that given the beating around the bush that we have experienced with Sesko and Gyokeres that it will be another missed opportunity this summer. I will also say that I believe that neither Arteta or Berta have any real interest in signing a striker any rate – If you want Gyokeres then the very small matter of 5 million euro’s or the way the deal is structured should not be an obstacle.

I don’t need to talk about his other peculiar transfer behaviours – we all know about his fixation with signing the crap that Chelsea don’t want – at hugely inflated prices.

The one thing that is holding Arsenal back from winning a trophy is Arteta. He took entertaining and effective attacking play that took us to a last day of the season title challenge and replaced it last season with dull passing and an over reliance on set pieces.

Whilst abuse and vandalism has absolutely no place anywhere the core issue is that Arteta has been at Arsenal six years and has only delivered one FA cup in his first season. You can argue he has improved Arsenal but given the money he has spent doing that you expect improvement.

    Arteta has reached his plateau.

He should strengthen this squad of players this summer and be given next season to deliver. If he cannot then he should be moved on.

I just don’t like him very much..
