5 GOOD
- We won and are into the next round, where we host Norwich City
- 90 minutes for Alexis Sanchez. He should now be fit to start against WBA
- 90 minutes for Jack Wilshere. He continues his rehabilitation
- Ainsley Maitland-Niles has the pace and strength to be a Premier League player
- We kept a clean sheet (I am struggling for 5)
5 BAD
- Jack Wilshere tired dramatically in the second half. Not yet ready to start a Premier League game
- David Ospina’s kicking was atrocious and put us in danger. Could not get past the halfway line
- Way too much space between the defence and midfield
- Both Maitland-Niles and Reiss Nelson made key errors that could have cost goals. Were both playing out of position
- Olivier Giroud is not the man for games to expose lesser teams. He puts in the same level performance not matter the opponent
Keenos

I`d never get on the kids back because he looks a right trier but Maitland-Niles will never make it at The Arsenal. I hope he makes a decent living and has a good career but he`ll have to drop down a level or 2 to do so. Nelson will play plenty of Premier League football (hopefully at The Arse) as he develops physically and mentally.

Think that’s a bit harsh on a lad who started as a right winger and has adapted to many positions and was playing a very unnatural left wing back role. He was magnificent in the second half versus Cologne when he moved to centre midfield.. he’s like Frimpong with a brain and footballing ability..

Time will tell Paul and I hope you are right. I like seeing a young kid come through the academy and make it but I dont see it happening here. He should still make a decent career for himself though and you do have a point about him being played out of position.

My worry with ANM (or is it AMN?) is the club don’t seem to know where to play him
