I would just like to thank BBC Sport on behalf of all Arsenal fans for moving our game away to Manchester United in the FA Cup to Monday 9th 7.45pm kick off.
This means over 10,000 travelling Arsenal fans will have to take a Monday off of work to travel up to Manchester for the game. And if you are looking at going by train?
Thanks BBC. You have really thought of the Arsenal away fans with the staging of this fixture.
Remember, next time your commentators talk about the magic of the cup dying. Club or fans no longer be interested. YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.

It’s probably even worse for all those Man U fans who have to get back to Cornwall, Surrey and Essex!

From an Arsenal point of view, it’s FANTASTIC! The two BBC FA Cup matches usually have TV time slots of early Saturday noon or Monday night – so thank F*** we got Monday night, especially as we play away at QPR on the previous Wednesday. Monday night means a relaxed preparation on the day – not the bleary-eyed chaos that falls upon us with early away games. As for those who will struggle to go to work next day – DONT GO TO THE GAME!!!! Seriously, Boo-Hoo! Watch it live on TV, save your cash, and go to bed on time. Its ridiculous every time there’s an away game on a weird date we think its an outrage. That’s modern football now. We wouldn’t have a spanking new 60,000 stadium without TV money, we wouldn’t have Alexis and Ozil without TV money. That’s the deal. they call shots and we watch great players in a stunning environment. Otherwise, we’d be struggling to get a ticket into Highbury to watch Eddie McGoldrick and David Hillier again!

oh dear. Seems like you’re one of those armchair supporters having a pop at supporters who actually go to games. Do you honestly believe that players only join Arsenal because of tv money? You might wanna check your history. A history you probably don’t know a lot about, judging by your divvy comments. Come back when you’ve spent a few bob watching The Arsenal you Dickhead.

WHAT HE SAYS IS SPOT ON. TV CALLS THE SHOTS AND THATS WHAT PROMOTES OUR FOOTBALL AND BRINGS US THE BIG BUCKS. IN RETURN WE CAN AFFORD NEW STADIUMS AND WORLD STARS. THIS IS A FACT. SO IF TV CHANGE THE GAME TO 3AM YOU JUST HAVE TO ACCEPT IT. IF YOU CANT GET TO THE GAME THEN TOUGH. JUST BECAUSE HE CANNOT PUT HIS LIFE ON HOLD AND TRAVEL TO MANCHESTER ON A MONDAY NIGHT DOES NOT MAKE HIM ANY LESSER FAN THAN YOU. I SUGGEST YOU STOP CALLING PEOPLE WITH A VALID OPINION A DICKHEAD. THE ONLY DICKHEAD WHO MAKES DIVVY COMMENTS IS YOU.

You types always wanna run to history and hide behind a team flag, you´re no better than anyone. There was a reason you didn´t try and counter any of his points, because you realise that he makes valid points. Anyone can go to a game; here´s an idea: get your life and affairs in order and let someone else whom the schedule accommodates assume the position.
Dear god we have fans like this??¿¿?

To be truly honest, how many fans could afford to go to the match if it was on the weekend? I know that this means that there won’t be many fans in the away section, but that’s doesn’t mean that you should bash on BBC and the FA.

I would have gone on a sat or sun , if you look there are no trains back on monday night either.and yes you should Bash the bbc /fa, there is a local derby game that round villa/brum, travel arrangements for that need no problems for fans.

Ok, fair enough. I didn’t know that the travel arrangements where that bad. It that case, BBC/FA are dickheads, it is not fair that a lot of loyal arsenal fans can’t cheer their team on because they want more ratings and money.

I found the sarcasm of the article truly unnecessary. We knew it was a winge-storm anyway…
