Games have come thick and fast over the last couple of months. What that means is we have jumped from pre-game blog to match report to post-game blog, and then back to a pre-game blog ahead of the next game.
One reason I got into blogging was because I love sharing my opinion. I find the pre/post match stuff boring to write about. It is very formulated and everyone is doing it.
Due to the volume of games we have had, I have tons of opinion pieces saved in drafts.
During the World Cup, the She Wore blogs will reduce as there is naturally less to say. But there will be an increase in opinion pieces.
A glimpse of what you have to look forward too:
New wideman options
Possibly January signings
Nketiah or Balogun?
No need for Tielemans
The need for a “Reyes” signing
And more that I have yet to write!
If you want to share an opinion piece over the World Cup, please get in touch – shewore@gmail.com.
We want to share your views!

By now most of you would have seen the clips from the Cristiano Ronaldo interview with the grass that is Piers Stefan O’Meara.
Ronaldo has shown he is a narcissist who is struggling to realise he is not the messiah, with Morgan facilitating him under the guise of journalism.
Ronaldo, Kevin Pietersen and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Morgan certainly has a certain type of favoured sportsmen – egotistical, problematic and shunned by the majority – bit like Piers himself.
What I do not understand is some fans have tried to put forward a case for Ronaldo to join Arsenal for 6 months.
Now I am not sure if they are doing this for attention, to try and create content and discussion, or they are just idiots. but anyone that wants Ronaldo at their club – whether they be Arsenal or Colchester United – needs to give their head a wobble.
We have worked hard in recent years to rid ourselves of overpaid, over the hill, egotistical stars – namely Aubemayang and Mesut Ozil.
Our rise to the top of the league is due to having a squad of talented young players, all realise they are stronger as a unit, working hard under the instruction of Mikel Arteta. Ronaldo would kill the vibe on his first day.
He does not work hard for the team. He wants to be front and centre of everything. And he will not follow the instructions of the manager.
And Roanldo’s biggest issue is he does not realise that he is the problem.
Ronaldo is so far up his own his arse that he can see out of his mouth.
He actually thinks he has the backing of most Manhcester United fans; he is mixing up Man U fans with Ronaldo fans.
Those that fanboy him would follow him everywhere. Defend all his actions, including the unsavory acts which means he can not go to America for fear of being arrested.
Not only would I not want Ronaldo, I also would not his fanboys upsetting the happy place that is Arsenal.
We have got rid of those that tried unsettling the club due to Ozil; signing Ronaldo would be a return to those days.
They would be screaming for Arteta to be sacked just because he did not select their nearly-40-year-old hero. It would distablise the fan base.
He might have been a world class player a few years ago, but he is now a shadow of himself. But has kept the ego.
Anyone who wants us to sign Ronaldo, please press the unfollow button!
And if we signed Ronaldo? Well it would be the worst thing to ever happen to the club.
UTA.

Morning Top Of The League FC. Or as we are now called: Top At Christmas FC.
It was Played No One Decent FC, then Collapse In October FC. After a draw away to Southampton it was Burnout FC. But here we are, going into the World Cup, top of the league.
What will be next? My bet is “Arsenal haven’t played Man City or Newcastle” or “they will collapse after the World Cup.
But let’s ignore the naysayers and just enjoy our Christmas dinners!
We have turned a brilliant pre-season into a brilliant start to the season. It is more than any of us could have hoped.
I still do not expect us to win the title. Very few Arsenal fans can say they are confident about us being Champions. Opposing fans will try and paint a different picture, that we need to be humbled. But the reality is we are just enjoying having a competitive team again.
We are too and we deserve to be there.
There has not really been a game that we have won that we didn’t deserve too (victory over Leeds the only one that gets close). We have not had those Spurs games where they have been behind, and just scrapped through.
And in the two games we dropped points, we can point to being on the wrong side of refereeing decisions (no penalty against Southampton and opening goal wrongly disallowed against Man U).
Opponents will point to the Liverpool game (when the referee got everything right) as an example of when we got favourable decisions. And Sky are trying to paint a narrative of us being lucky having spent half-time Saturday and 10 minutes after full time bitterly debating a possible penalty that was offside anyway.
We now have a little break for the winter World Cup.
Whilst people might think it will damage our momentum, I think it will have the opposite effect.
Just 10 Gooners will be going.
The Arsenal boys who are going to the World Cup in Qatar…
🇧🇷 Gabriel Martinelli 🇧🇷 Gabriel Jesus 🇯🇵 Takehiro Tomiyasu 🇫🇷 William Saliba 🇨🇭 Granit Xhaka 🇬🇭 Thomas Partey 🇺🇸 Matt Turner 🏴 Bukayo Saka 🏴 Ben White 🏴 Aaron Ramsdale
Over the 10, Bukayo Saka, Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Matt Turner are the only guaranteed starters. Gabriel Jesus and William Saliba are both 50/50 to start.
Of those 7, Tomiyasu, Xhaka and Partey will probably struggle to make the knockout stages, meaning they will be back with Arsenal in the first week of December.
Saka, Saliba and Jesus are the only candidates to be playing for their country come through quarter finals, and you would expect almost everyone back by the end of the semi-finals (14 December).
That will mean Mikel Arteta should be ready to face West Ham on Boxing Day with the majority of the squad having had at least 12 days without a game. We should be nicer rested.
A Boxing Day visit from West Ham is followed by a New Years Eve trip to Brighton. We then have a tricky period of Newcastle (H), Spurs (A), Manchester United (H) and Everton (A).
If we are still top of the league after the first 6 games back, then I might start believing.
In other news, Tony Adams was knocked out of Strictly last night.
Rumours are he had the votes that guaranteed him being through, but a “hamstring injury” meant he was likely to pull out. That led producers to make the decision to put him in the dance off, ignoring the vote. We can be proud of getting him so far!
Enjoy being top!
