Jack Wilshere – Stop being a Chav and grow up

So Jack Wilshere is facing a one match ban after giving Manchester City fans the bird during Arsenal’s 6-3 defeat on Saturday. My only thought on this was “Jack, you silly little boy.”

Just over 2 months ago, I wrote how Wilshere needed to learn from Ramsey, after he was pictured outside a night club with a cigarette flirting with a pretty blonde. It seems that what ever words the club had with him after that picture went straight in one ear and out the other, as the little chav arose from within once more.

His loss of self control, his needless act, will rob the club of his services for one game. Likely to be the home game against Chelsea next week. There is precedence for the 1 game ban after Luis Suarez was banned for 1 game after making a similar gesture against Fulham.

I was at the Manchester City v Arsenal, and in all honesty, I did not hear much abuse towards Jack Wilshere. The majority of City fans abuse was aimed at Theo Walcott, with songs questioning who the father of his unborn child is. Theo Walcott responded to his abuse with 2 goals and a decent all round display.

Jack Wilshere, meanwhile, responded by sticking his middle finger up at the City fans, before running around trying hard, but ultimately not doing much. He lost control of himself.

The worry is, Jack Wilshere’s immaturity, his petulance, is something which does not seem to be going away. He seems to be a very cocky young man who clearly thinks his shit does not stink. Were he not a footballer, you could imagine him getting in fights every Saturday night in his local, and getting smashed up by bigger lads due to him being too cocky. He certainly suffers from a bit of little man syndrome.

He is already a long way down the list for next Arsenal captain and it is him who misses out in arsenal’s strongest 11. He needs to grow up and starting acting more like Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott, rather than reverting to type and acting like a spoilt chav. He needs to realise the talent he has, and where he can go. If he does not buck up soon, he will soon find himself with the likes of Frimpong, Bentley, Pennant and Bothroyd, all of whom had a bigger opinion of themselves than the talent they had in their feet.

Jack, grow up you chav.

10 Reasons why we will beat Everton + Starting XI

1.. Chesney is on a run of 4 clean sheets in a row, of course this isn’t just down to him but when called on he really is on point this season.

2.. Carl Jenkinson, I’m getting a bit bored with people slagging him off, I like him and not just because his family are big Arsenal fans but of course that helps. The Ball he put in for our first goal against Hull was inch perfect, he didn’t put a foot wrong all night. Yes he is no Sagna and they are big boots to fill but I urge people to look at his work rate and how much he is improving before taking the easy route of he’s not good enough.

3.. Gibbs, nice to see Wenger use rotation wisely mid week and yeah Monreal had a good game but Gibbs (another boyhood Arsenal fan) should be back today and refreshed. We are blessed right now to have good cover in both full-back positions.

4.. Arteta, To be fair he gave his best years to Everton and if it wasn’t for Fabregas doing a bunk we would never of signed him but I’m glad we did. He has grown into the defensive midfield role as well has keeping his natural urge to play sexi football. He will want to put in a performance against his former side.

5.. Everton, will not be a pushover, sitting pretty in 5th having just won at Old Trafford and with a new manager whose taking a chance with some exciting young players.

6.. Everton’s Prem record – Played 14, won 7, drawn 6, lost 1,the fewest in the Prem. But they have lost 14 of the last 17 visits to us.

7.. Giroud will be back after being rested mid-week, thank god as his replacement wasn’t upto much and clearly wasn’t even fit enough to last more than 70mins in a game we dominated.

8.. Ozil, it’s almost getting to the stage where I hope he looks quiet as he is always so deceiving, one moment it looks like he hasn’t touched the ball in ages the next he is slotting a ball in and bang, goal.

9. Theo, again I can see him starting on the bench, but I want him back and on form. Let me remind you that last season in the Prem he scored 14 goals and had 13 assists, that’s a goal or an assist every 84 mins he played and more or less all from the right side of the pitch.

10.. Wenger knows – we have a run of 4 tricky games starting with today but 6 points in our next 3 Prem games will see us sitting on top whilst we all tuck into our turkey this year.

Likely starting XI – Chesney, Jenks, BFG, Kos, Gibbs, Arteta, Ramsey, Jack, Santi, Ozil, Giroud

10 Reasons why we will beat Hull CITY+ starting XI

Before I start slaughtering Hull City and how we will stuff them tonight I’d like to wish their fans all the best with keeping the name Hull City. Owners are just custodians of football clubs, without fan’s there wouldn’t be clubs, Owners should bare that in mind.

1.. Chesney’s save in the 2nd half Vs Cardiff was every bit as important as our 2nd and 3rd goals. GREAT points winning save and the sign of a keeper really on top form.

2.. Gibbs and Sagna are both on form, both doing great defensive work as well as knowing when to push forward. Sadly with Sagna having a slight hamstring injury and Gibbs needing protecting we may see Monreal and Jenks step in.

3.. BFG and Kos must be the best centreback pairing right now in England if not Europe.

4.. Ramsey, 2 goals with zero celebrations against his former boyhood club. If that’s not the mark of a true Arsenal man and future captain I don’t know what is.

5.. Jack, Proving a lot of people wrong, myself included, he can play in any position in midfield if needed.

6.. Ozil, even when he looks quiet he’s capable of pulling a few strings and picking out a pass which leads to a goal.

7.. A few cameo appearances so far from returning from injury, Theo, about time he started a game. I’ve never rated him coming off the bench.

8.. Hull city; played 13, won 5, drawn 2, lost 6, scoring only 12 goals and letting in 16. They even managed to lose to tottenh*m 1 nil (guessing that was a last min penalty, but I wont bother checking).

9.. Giroud, even when he doesn’t score he is involved and it’s about time people looked at him as more a number 10 than an out and out striker.

10.. Wenger knows, December is going to be a tricky month and could shape our season so some careful squad rotation is needed.

Chesney, Jenks, BFG, Kos, Monreal, Flamini, Rosicky, Ramsey, Jack, Theo, Giroud.
