1)  A bit of pressure is off the squad now we are in the Champs League  group stages.

2) Jack had his best game so far this season mid week, Ramsey is back but the big question is can they play together ?

3) Chesney, Can’t really fault him so far this season, been steady and hes controlling the box well. With age comes experience.

4) Debuchy was very unlucky to get 2 yellows mid week, I’d say that not only has he been a seamless replacement for Sagna but also an improvement. His crossing is defiantly better, a shame we don’t get the same width down the left.

5) Santi, like Jack, also looked good mid-week and he will confuse and baffle And Leicester today.

6) Podolski is back and traveled with the squad, even if he don’t play he will be head cheer leader.

7) We haven’t lost there in the League since 1994, but out last game there was the final game in the Invincible Season.

8)  And Leicester had a great home record last season in the Championship, but they will have to have a blinder to keep us out today.

9) With Giroud out for sometime and the club dragging its heels to buy a replacement for RVP still its likely Alexis (who works hes F’ing socks off) will start again down the middle.

10) Wenger Knows, this is the kind of game that can be frustrating at times and the home crowd who haven’t had many big boys visit in the last 10 years will be well up for it, but this is the kind of away game that sorts out the Prem winners to those in 4th place.

Firstly I will admit the starting 11 yesterday Vs Everton looked spot on, it looked fresh, exciting and full of attacking options, sadly that didn’t turn out to be the case. We almost set up like a counter attacking side against a team who have been perfecting this skill over the last year or so under Martinez.

Ozil out wide left does not work, it’s never worked in the past and won’t work in the future. Yes Ozil has played successfully in that role for Germany, but he has the worlds best left back behind him to cover.  Ozil like many a left midfielder Wenger has tried since he sold Pires (too soon) is bloody useless at tracking back, it’s just not his game, he loses his man at key moments and without even bothering to read the gutter press this morning I’m sure he’s blamed for Everton’s first goal.

The left midfield is fast becoming our graveyard position….

Reyes – Never the same after Neville kicked him

Arshavin – A number 10 played out wide where he lost interest and looked lazy

Gervinho – Lost all form once he came to us

Podolski – The most natural finisher we have (had) but like Ozil he can’t defend

Santi – Cuts inside too much, gives us no width

The problem is Wenger seems to like buying small tidy tippy tappy players who are versatile, when what he should be doing is identifying where we are weak and buying players to fit into that position. Round holes and square pegs springs to mind over and over again. There is little or no point buying £30mill plus players then not building a team around them, Ozil needs to play as a number 10, he needs runners around him, he needs no defensive duties in our box and then we will get the best out of him.

1) The Germans are back, I don’t expect all of them to play 90mins but they could all get a run out of some kind today.

2) Diaby and Sanogo are fit, fit for what tho is the question.

3) Arteta is also missing, which means the end of the failed Arteta/Ramsey/Wilshere midfield 3 experiment.

4) The Ox and Campbell are fully fit and raring to go !

5) We can’t do much worse than than we did in this fixture last season when we got trounced 3-0

6) Since our first meeting in 1905 we have beaten Everton 99 times and they have only beaten us once in the last fifteen matches  (bbc sport)

7) Debuchy, yes its early to really be able to comment but he does look like hes slotted in effortlessly.

8) Everton are without their great English hope Ross Barkley.

9) Alexis, all the style all the tricks, he’s been wasted on the right without nobody on the end of his work.

10) Wenger Knows he must either sign a Striker, Def Mid and Cen Back or its round holes and square pegs again this season.
