10 reasons why we will beat Man City + my starting 11

1) For the first time since 1947 we’ve had an international break that we have more fit players after than before. Arteta and Gibbs set to be in the squad today.

2) Our number 1 keeper Chesney, quietly getting on with things this season, he could go onto be an all time great for us.

3) Debuchy, I’m really impressed with him, not just his engine or his pace, or his crossing it’s his positional sense in covering the CB’s. Definitely an improvement on the fella City will have on the bench.

4) Yes the Community Shield is an overblown friendly, but still we made them look average that day even when they pulled on the bigger players

5) Man City lost to Stoke.

6) Danny Welbeck should start today and with him and Sanchez we will finally have some direct pace running at teams

7) The last time Man City lost 2 games back to back was in Oct 2010, one of those games was against us *sky sports*

8) This 12.45pm kick off times just for TV is a joke, I used to understand it in the dark past when it was used for games with a high risk of trouble, but 12.45pm just for TV and still charge £65 upwards for the pleasure, well count me out. *Rant over*

9) Man City have a couple of key players out, we have a couple coming in, this is the season we finally start beating the top 3 clubs again.

10) Wenger knows, well he should know by now, the key to these big games is a decent start, keeping our shape and keeping the ball. We get past the first 10-15mins and settle down today then Man City are there for the taking.

My Starting 11 – Chesney, Deb, Kos, BFG, Gibbs, Flamini, Jack, Ozil, Sanchez, Ox, Welbeck

10 Reasons why we will beat Sunderland + Starting 11

1) Dennis Bergkamp will be there after unveiling his statue https://shewore.com/2014/02/21/arsenal-legend-set-for-return/

2) Chesney is back after being rested after only 38 mins mid week.

3%) When Koscielny and the BFG have played together we have never lost a game that we have had 11men on the pitch for 90mins when the game has been played south of Watford at 3pm.

4) Ozil, those slagging him off will soon look very silly, this guy is class when played in his correct number 10 type role. This is the ideal game for him to get back on it.

5) Mannone is back in goal for Sunderland, he will either have a blinder or a stinker, lets hope its the latter.

6) Gibbs is out with a buttock injury, so expect Monreal to show us all the art of playing left-back. What a pain in the arse…

7) It’s been refreshing to see someone but the only scoring off the pitch Giroud leading the line for us. Jury is out on Sanogo, some good touches, seems like he has the confidence and he gave the Liverpool defense a bit of a physical problem. But when it comes to shooting he seems to slightly lose his composure.

8) The Arsenal’s home Prem record -Played 13, won 9, drawn 3, lost 1. Sunderland’s away Prem record – Played 12, won 3, drawn 4, lost 5.

9) We have gone 5 home Prem games without conceding and haven’t lost at home since opening day Vs Villa, Sunderland have had 4 clean sheets in the last 6 games and haven’t lost in the last 6 away games.

10) Wenger knows teams at the bottom of the table can be as dangerous as teams at the top, a point for Sunderland would be a good result for them. We need to come out high tempo from the start.

Predicted starting 11 – Chesney, Sagna, BFG, Kos, Monreal, Jack, Flamini, Santi, Ox, Ozil, Giroud.

COME ON THE ARSENAL

10 reasons why we will beat Bayern Munich + starting 11

1) In 2013, we only lost to Bayern Munich on away goals. We have since improved.

2) Our win percentage leading up to the Munich games last time was 47%. Since then, our win percentage is 70%

3%) What let us down in the first leg last time out was defensive errors. Since then, we’ve kept shit loads of clean sheets and have a keeper whose never been in better form.

4) Bayern Munich might be unbeaten in the Bundesliga this year, but this is a bigger indictment on how poor the German league is, than how good Munich are.

5) Bayern Munich are not challenged week in week in Germany. They will struggle to raise their performance for us.

6) No Ribery. No Shaqiri. No chance.

7) The last time Bayern Munich failed to score in a a game was against Arsenal.

8) Mesut Ozil.

9) We have a Big Fucking German. Bayern Munich don’t.

10) Wenger knows, this is the one he wants…

Predicted Starting XI – Chesney, Sagna, Kos, BFG, Gibbs, Jack, Flamini, Santi, Ozil, Rosicky, Giroud.
