10 Reasons why we will beat Stoke + starting 11

1) It shows the stupidity of some fans when they plan on abusing a player not even there. The players will do it for Ramsey.

2) Ozil is back after his dead leg/dropped/rested.

3%) If anyone can stop the lanky Crouch its the BFG.

4) With Gibbs and Monreal both out Sagna will move to left back and Jenkinson should come in at right back, say what you like about Jenkinson but this is his kind of game, he will get stuck in and will run all game.

5) The Arsenal Away – Won 8, Drawn 2, Lost 3. Scoring 26 goals.

6) Stoke Home – Won 5, Drawn 6, Lost 2. Scoring just 17 goals.

7) Stoke fans are likely to make a song and dance over Wenger’s 100 red cards, but “They have committed more fouls than any other team in the Premier League (360) and picked up the most cards (58 yellows, three reds)”. *bbc sport*

8) Mark Hughes hated him as a player and hate him as a manager, you kind of get the feeling Wenger doesn’t like him much as well.

9) Stoke are 3 points off the bottom 3 and will be desperate to get anything out of today’s game, desperation leads to mistakes.

10) Wenger Knows – On paper we should destroy Stoke today, but paper doesn’t win games, heart, skill and passion does. He has to send them out to set a fast tempo.

Likely starting 11 – Chesney, Jenks, BFG, Kos, Sagna, Arteta, Jack, Ozil, Santi, Ox, Giroud.

Arsenal’s young midfielder’s step up again

First it was Aaron Ramsey. Then it was Jack Wilshere. Now its is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. They are 23, 22 and 20 respectively. And this season, when called upon, have all stepped up.

Ramsey was the first one to show he had taken giant strides forward. After injury and lack of form, some felt his Arsenal career should be over. 13 goals this season saw him named Arsenal Player of the Month an unprecedented 4 time’s in a row between August and November. He stepped up.

Whilst Ramsey was in sparkling form, Jack Wilshere was making headlines for other reasons, which led me to call for him to “stop being a chav and grow up”, after his single fingered salute to the Manchester City fans. It seemed what Wilshere needed was not an arm around him, but more responsibility.

With Ramsey’s injury against West Ham, Wilshere was pushed back into the middle, and he began to shine, peaking by scoring and assisting in the victory of Aston Villa. With Ramsey out, he stepped up.

Next up was Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Returning from his own injury problems, his chances looked limited. But with Wilshere and Ramsey crocked, and new signing Kim Kallstrom injured before he’d even joined, Wenger had little choice but to play The Ox in central midfield – a position where Wenger has been saying for some time his future lies.

And boy, did The Ox step up. A 2 goal man of the match performance yesterday against Crystal Palace shows that we have plenty of depth and talent in central midfield. Yes, we need further back up in defensive midfield, however in front that, in the ‘water carrier’ role, we have 3 talented young men all with the ability to step up when needed.

Oxlade-Chamberlain started off shakey, playing a few too many Hollywood passes and perhaps trying to hard. But as he relaxed and got into the game, his talent shone through. 2 brilliant goals were only the tip of the iceberg. His ability to pick up the ball deep and run with it is something that we missed against Southampton. Players hate running back towards their own goal, and The Ox’s ability to drive with the ball got Crystal Palace running scared.

We might have problems elsewhere in the side (upfront, defensive midfield), however, we can sit confidently knowing that we have 3 top midfielder’s who, when required, have all stepped up to the plate.

10 Reasons why we will beat Newcastle + likely starting 11+ Pardew facts.

1.. Pardew, what a horrible piece of work he is. From being openly racist about the number of non-British players we once had to now having less British players than us. There’s nothing like having morals and he definitely has none.

2.. Newcastle are sitting in 7th in the Prem, dizzy heights for them and mainly down to having the 4th best home record, sadly for them we have the best away record.

3.. Pardew, again, did i mention he once got right in the face of Mr Wenger after managing a last minute winner whilst in charge at west ham ?? add no class to no morals.

4.. Chesney must be very disappointed in his spillage which lead to the whammers goal, he will be looking to make amends.

5.. Pardew played 4 times for tottenham and was on the pitch for their record defeat in 1995 8-0 away to FC Koln. So no morals, class and played for the scum

6.. Ramsey out, which hopefully will mean more of Podolski down the left and Santi in the middle.

7.. Theo, fast proving everyone wrong again.

8.. We won there 1 nil last season, but don’t tell tottenham fans that, they swear blind Newcastle have scored.

9.. We are the form team of the calender year 2013, 79 points, if we win today we will leave the year top of the Prem. Sadly there is not a trophy for this.

10.. Wenger knows, only a few days until he can buy the striker we need to really make a push for the title this season.

My Starting 11 – Chesney, Sagna, BFG, TV, Gibbs, Flamini, Santi, Ozil, Podolski, Theo, Giroud.
